of ministry opportunities. These practical ministry experiences are designed to
provide hands-on training, the opportunity to develop in confidence and ability
to minister, and to encourage a heart of service and compassion for the lost. Students
also learn to work and minister as a team. Outreaches are usually done in conjunction
with FIRE Church, and other local ministries.

Lifesavers (Children's Outreach)
The focus of Lifesavers is to bring the gospel of the kingdom to the children and
families in a specific inner city area of Concord. Members are involved in planning,
Bible lessons, prayer, and creating an environment of trust & fun for the children
to experience the love of our Father. Through our relationship with the children,
we also make it a priority to visit and reach out to their families for the purpose
of seeing entire families transformed by the kingdom of heaven.
Evangelism Team
This team is designed to evangelize and minister on the streets of Charlotte and
surrounding cities. They use a variety of ministry styles such as: street preaching,
prophetic evangelism, and relationship evangelism.
House of Prayer
The goal of this team is to raise up a prayer movement at FIRE. Students will be
trained in various prayer styles as well as how to lead others in prayer.
Life Team

minister on a weekly basis to mothers and families who are at the point of making
life and death decisions concerning their unborn children. Students will participate
in intercession, worship, evangelism, and discipleship.
Healing Team

working of miracles. They simply meet, pray, hear from God, do what He says, and
then go out watch lives get touched, impacted, and transformed by the power and
love of God.
Logan Community Team

and being built up in Christ. Currently, there are a number of Bible studies that
are being formed into home-groups in this ministry.
Nursing Home Ministry

are expressing “true and undefiled religion” by caring for widows and the elderly.
They participate in laying hands on the sick, preaching, and teaching Bible studies,
worship, and prayer.

men's, and women's prisons in North Carolina. Members participate in preaching,
worship, prayer, teaching and one-on-one discipleship.
Teaching English As A Second Language (TESOL)
The focus of this team is to serve the local international community through teaching
English classes. There are three classes offered: Beginner’s English, Intermediate
English, and Citizenship Studies. The Lord has used this ministry in a very effective
and unique way to build a relational bridge between people of different cultures
in our area. This team focuses on building trusting relationships with their students
