Michael L. Brown

President, Professor of Practical Theology

B.A (Queens College), M.A. (New York University), Ph.D. (New York University). Dr. Brown served as a leader in the Brownsville Revival from 1996-2000 and birthed FIRE School of Ministry in 2001. He has preached throughout the United States and in more than twenty nations and has written twenty books on revival, holiness, radical discipleship, and Jewish-Christian issues, along with scholarly works in Old Testament and Hebrew studies. He is generally considered to be the foremost expert in Jewish apologetics and has debated leading rabbis on college campuses, radio, and TV. He is the host of the new Jewish outreach TV show, Think It Thru and the host of the live, daily syndicated radio show the Line of Fire. His most recent books include a commentary on Jeremiah for the new edition of the Expositor’s Bible Commentary; the acclaimed series Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus (five volumes); and What Do Jewish People Think About Jesus: And Other Questions Christians Ask About Jewish Practice, History, and Belief. His scholarly articles have been published in leading journals as well as in the Oxford Dictionary of Jewish Religion, the Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament, and the New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis. Dr. Brown has devoted his life to helping raise up and equip an army of holy radicals who will spark a spiritual and moral revolution in this generation. His 5,000 word Jesus Manifesto, along with his more full study, Revolution! The Call to Holy War, are widely used as foundational documents for this new Jesus Revolution, and he is the Director of the Charlotte-based Coalition of Conscience. Dr. Brown has also served as a visiting or adjunct professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, School of World Mission, Regent University School of Divinity, The King’s Seminary, Southern Evangelical Seminary, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (Charlotte), and Denver Theological Seminary.

Keith Collins

School Director/Professor of Practical Theology

A.A. (Brownsville Revival School of Ministry), B.A (American Intercontinental University), M.Div. in progress (Southern Evangelical Seminary). Keith has been actively involved in ministry for over 26 years. During this time he has served in various roles including: Youth Pastor, Lead Pastor, Outreach Center Director, Bible College Professor, Dean of Students, Pastoral Care Director, and Bible College President/Director. In recent years Keith served as the President of the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry and Director of the Brownsville Ministry Training Center, which were both born out of The Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, FL. Keith also served at FIRE School of Ministry as a leader and professor while overseeing the pastoral department, as well as student life. While currently fulfilling the role of FIRE School of Ministry’s Director, Keith is also active in itinerate ministry and speaks regularly nationally and internationally through Generation Impact Ministry which he and his wife Darla founded in 1998.

William E. “Josh” Peters

Professor of Practical Theology

B.Th. (Liberty Christian College), M.Th. (Liberty Christian College), D.Miss. (Columbia Southern University). Dr. Peters is a veteran missionary, having spent over 20 years in overseas ministry. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he travels the world with teams of students to give future potential missionaries their first exposure to foreign cultures. He has seen powerful moves of God in Mexico, Scotland, Australia, Argentina, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Germany. His gifting as an apostolic teacher enables him to accept the challenge of preparing thousands of students to reach the world with the fires of revival and the Jesus Revolution. Dr. Peters is the President and General Director of FIRE International, the mission sending agency for FIRE.

bob-gladstoneRobert J. Gladstone

Professor of Practical Theology

B.A. (Southeastern College), M.A. (Wheaton Graduate School), Ph.D. (Logos Graduate School). Robert taught full-time at the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry (1997-2000) and FIRE since 2001. He recently oversaw the implementation of a new format for FSM that reflects Jesus’ progressive model in Matthew’s gospel for radical discipleship, supernatural demonstration of the Kingdom, and authentic community. He preaches in churches and conferences throughout the United States and overseas. His classes and messages reflect his main burdens: the Church’s biblical, “apostolic” identity; the “New Jesus People” rising in the West after a 40-year wilderness; the Kingdom of God; and Sonship. Robert has written full-length manuals for his classes on these topics as well as Old Testament and New Testament Surveys.

Assistant Professor of Practical Theology

B.A., Pastoral Ministries (Jimmy Swaggart Bible College), M.A., Predoctoral Studies (Regent University). A member of the Society for Pentecostal Studies, Steve has a burden for the purity of the word of God, longing to see the church return to an apostolic gospel, which includes the experience of signs and wonders wrought by the Holy Spirit. He has written full-length teaching manuals for How to Study God’s Word and History Makers.

Ryan Bruss

Instructor of Practical Theology

Associate’s Degree (Brownsville Revival School of Ministry). Ryan served for several years in Pensacola, Florida as the Outreach Director for Brownsville Revival School of Ministry and then for FIRE School of Ministry. Ryan also worked with Steve Hill in Dallas, Texas for five years as a crusade director, Associate Pastor, and as the president of Heartland School of Ministry. He has ministered throughout the United States and in numerous countries around the world. Ryan currently serves as the FIRE School of Ministry Administrator.

Scott Volk

Instructor of Practical Theology

Associate’s Degree in Practical Theology (Christ for the Nations, Dallas, TX), B.A., Pastoral Studies (North Central University, Minneapolis, MN). A Jewish believer in the Messiah, Scott served for nine years on the pastoral staff of a church in Scottsdale, Arizona, before following God’s call to Pensacola, Florida, to labor alongside Dr. Michael Brown at ICN Ministries in 1996. Scott currently serves as part of the leadership and faculty team at FIRE School of Ministry and is the primary pastoral elder of FIRE Church.

Dion Light

Assistant Director of FIRE International

Associate’s Degree (Brownsville Revival School of Ministry), B.S. (ITT Technical Institute). Dion, his wife Michelle, and their children served for two years as FIRE International missionaries in Poland. He currently serves as Assistant Director for FI where he provides pastoral guidance to the missionaries as well as oversees the day-to-day operations. Dion has a passion to see radical worshippers of Jesus comprehend the supremacy of God in missions and become equipped to embrace the Lord’s call to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Mike Motley

Instructor of Practical Theology

Associate’s Degree (Brownsville Revival School of Ministry). Mike Motley is the Worship Pastor at Fire Church. Mike had the privilege of serving under Lindell Cooley in the late 1990′s as the associate Worship Pastor at Brownsville Assembly of God. He led worship for the annual “Branded By Fire” youth conferences for 10 years and recorded two worship recordings with the Brownsville Youth ministry. He has traveled all over the world leading worship and spreading the message of the radical Grace of God as well as the power of the Local Church at work in the world. Mike’s heart for the up and coming students is that they would never find their identity in what they do in ministry but that they would find their identity in who they are “in Christ.”

Michael Lubanovic

Outreach Director of FIRE Church

B.A. (Youngstown State University), Associate’s Degree (Brownsville Revival School of Ministry). Over the past seven years, Mike has labored in ministering the Gospel throughout the U.S., Mexico, England, Wales and Brazil. His goal and desire is to equip students to take what they learn in the classroom into everyday life and ministry through hands-on experience and training. He also carries a burden to equip students in developing intimacy with God.

Brian Parkman

Instructor of Practical Theology

Associate’s Degree (Brownsville Revival School of Ministry), Graduate (Rhema Bible Training Center). Brian has served as an associate pastor and a worship leader. He has traveled and taught at churches across the US, imparting a burden for souls and evangelism, and teaching and equipping believers to overcome and walk in victory.

Lori Parkman

Instructor of Practical Theology

Associate’s Degree (Brownsville Revival School of Ministry), Associate’s Degree of Nursing (Clayton State University). Lori helped plant an inner-city church in Atlanta, GA, where she also ministered to the homeless and served as Sunday School Director for seven years. For over ten years as a registered nurse, she has been working primarily with cancer patients in various hospitals. Her burden is to see skilled laborers go to the nations.

Tobi A. Peters

Instructor of Practical Theology

B.Th. (Liberty Bible College), Counseling Certificate (Liberty Bible College), Master of Christian Counseling (Christian International). Tobi is the founder and president of GIG Ministries, Inc., a traveling music and teaching ministry, from 1989 to present. She served as a missionary to Indonesia and was a part-time faculty member at Brownsville Revival School of Ministry. Tobi is the administrative and accounting staff supervisor of FIRE International.

Anthony Naska

Instructor of Practical Theology

B.A. (Mt. Vernon Bible College). Anthony has a degree in Pastoral Theology with a minor in Christian Education. He has 23 years of experience in pastoral ministry in Akron, Ohio. Prior to ministry in Ohio, Anthony spent three years teaching at the primary level in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

Ken Pounders

B.A. Bible and Pastoral Counseling (Central Bible College); M.Div. (Christian Life School of Theology).

Ken Pounders is a missionary evangelist ministering in the U.S., Eastern Europe, Asia, and Central America.

Ken is the founder and president of Priority! Evangelism, a world evangelism training and sending organization. He and his wife Sonya have devoted themselves to new church planting, missionary evangelism, and Teen Challenge ministry for the last twenty-nine years.
