Leadership Institute
America is in a serious crisis, the Church of America is greatly compromised, and the needs of the world continue to be staggering. There is a critical need today for fully-equipped, solidly-grounded, specially-trained, radically-committed leaders to arise - and the FIRE Leadership Institute is the ideal place to be trained.

Now is the time to give your life to be a world changer, whether you are called to be a church planter, a college professor, or a cultural prophet; whether your field is missions, music, or the marketplace; whether your burden is for the salvation of the lost, the healing of the sick, or the reformation of society - the FIRE Leadership Institute is uniquely suited to equip you for effective kingdom service.

The FIRE Leadership Institute builds on the foundations of FIRE's one-year Immersion School, offering a two-year program with emphases in:
  • Cultural Engagement
  • Jewish Ministry
  • Missions and Evangelism
  • Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry
  • Worship and Intercession
  • Marketplace Ministry*
*(To be offered in the future)

Areas of emphasis are subject to change, based on enrollment.

The general structure of the FIRE Leadership Institute is as follows:
  • The-first year of the FIRE Leadership Institute contains both general classes, as well as specialized classes (based on emphasis chosen).
  • The second-year of the FIRE Leadership Institute consists primarily of hands-on internship experience.

Courses in the Leadership Institute include the following:
A systematic study of the purpose and place of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the contemporary Church, describing in detail the Spirit’s various manifestations and gifts.
A course focusing on the importance of having the heart of a shepherd as expressed in the Word of God. Topics covered will include: characteristics and qualities of a shepherd’s heart, the shepherding qualities of Jesus, and the unique calling of a shepherd.
An overview of the subject of revival, beginning with revival in the Scriptures and continuing through Church history, emphasizing the major characteristics of spiritual revival and awakening.
This eye-opening course will teach concepts and methods necessary to proclaim Christ clearly in different cultures.
The course teaches students the steps in the exegetical process, including principles of biblical exegesis and the use of lexicons, concordances, and standard tools and reference books. Knowledge of the biblical languages is not necessary.
A survey of the most important acts of God in the history of the Church, focusing on the people God used more than the events themselves. Discussion will include characteristics possessed by these men and women of God that enabled them to make history. There is no history unless there are history makers, and students will be exhorted to allow God to develop the characteristics of a history maker in them so they can become revolutionaries for Jesus.
One of the keys to strong, revived, New Testament churches is solid, godly leadership. This course will present different possible styles of leadership and teach the qualities of effective, scriptural leadership models.
How the Jesus Revolution affects society in terms of social and/or political activism, including practical direction on how to implement our values and goals.
An eye-opening look at the make-up and beliefs of cults in the US, as well as major world religions. This course will equip believers to confront others with the truth of the Christian faith.
A detailed biblical study of eschatology with special focus on Israel, also assessing current world events in light of the Scriptures.
